Spotkanie online z Shinjini Dey

How do stories capture the rhythms of labor, the hum of factories, and the invisible hands that keep the world moving? What happens when literature meets the assembly line, and how does media represent the lives of workers – both seen and unseen? How does translation become the factor? How realities of informal and contractual work reshape storytelling?

If you’re interested in literature, labor rights, or just curious about how stories intersect with the real world, this is the talk for you. Shinjini Dey – a writer of criticism and essays. Her work has been published in Contemporaries of Post45, The Cleveland Review of Books, Los Angeles Review of Books, and others. She has won awards and honours for her writing, including, among others, the Australia Council For the Arts Grant. She is also pursuing a PhD on the literature of work.

The meeting will be run in English, intended for participants aged 16+.
